Marta is a portuguese multi-disciplinary designer and cross-cultural art consultant.
Since young girl, she loved to travel and meet new cultures, and change everything in the different spaces where she was going. Her curiosity and determination led her to pursue a career in Cultural Communication in Lisbon, when she discovered that her true passion was Art and Design.
She went to the Beaux Arts Academy at the same time of the university where she took the Drawing and Painting bachelor degree.
In 2002, she moved to London to attend a Master of Arts in Museum and Gallery Management from the City University.
The following years, she lived in Lisbon, London, Paris and Brussels, and worked in different areas related with culture and arts. Based in Portugal, her creative design has been developed over time mainly with product design and small interior projects.
In 2009, she had an enormous challenge when she was invited to coordinate all the rehabilitation of a country house in Alentejo, Portugal. This challenging showed her that with professionalism and creativity all the ideas could become an innovative reality.
She is an independent professional known for finding creative solutions to business problems, a proven ability to revitalise spaces and create products of lasting value by producing intelligent results in design, a talent to start new projects and a team player, who enjoys making a difference.
She draws on her multitude of influences to create works that are at once culturally neutral and culturally enriched.
